This language will become a new official language of Europe
Europe isn't a something which has official langwidges.
Is it not? Check out the EU website Des - http://europa.eu.int/comm/education/policies/lang/languages/index_en.html
That page deals with official languages of the EU. The EU isn't Yoorp as a whole, of course, and the EU itself has exactly three (3) _working_ langwidges - I was trying to tease out of you what you think "official" status is good for.
This is a hyperthetical situation, not real - I thought that was also obvious but apparantly not.and by 2050, it is hoped that this language will be spoken just as much as the second language of the country, such as French in France.
Eh? Last I heard French was still the first langwidge in France.
Well, why don't you do the rest of us a favour and state the fucking hyperthesis, then? If it involves a radical change in langwidges natively spoken in France, you didn't.
All member states will sign up to this as it is compulsory."
Opinions please......
My opinion is mostly that you don't know anything about how the EU works.
Again Des, as stated at the beginning of my posting, this is a fictional scenario. Just in case you don't understand this, that means it's not real. Hence the title, what if????
Yeah, what if? "What if Iceland invaded the US and made beef illegal, so as to secure a larger market for its cod?"
You'll be wanting a science fiction or alternative history group, isn't it? This isn't one.
Des likes it that way .
