I think the news coverage is all following the lead of Variety, which
broke the story. According to Variety, not only will the film be in "a
Mayan dialect", it'll be in "an *obscure* Mayan dialect"! (As opposed to
all of those Mayan dialects that are well-known to the readers of
Variety.)
