Hi folks,
For you Cantonese speakers, I and others are seeking volunteer editors to go
over the a Cantonese version of CEDICT, that is, CEDICT which has been
rendered into Cantonese syllables, instead of Mandarin Pinyin in the
original.
Please see the current discussion thread at
http://www.cantonese.sheik.co.uk/phorum/read.php?1,40304
which has links to a new website in which I have placed the download zip
file.
The zip file contains the entries in the June 2005 CEDICT version in
Cantonese, and has been split into 58 separate files of 500 entries each for
each volunteer editor to go over, plus the cedict-readme.txt file that must
accompany the work.
I hope to have a list of people interested in the project so I can assign
parts of the project to them and later upload corrected files online in
future. All files are text files in utf8 format.
Cheers,
Dyl.
