Yes, it's a public forum, and why should anyone be dead if they don't visit
very often? I know someone who was once a sci.lang regular, but due to
family considerations, he hasn't post here for at least two or three years
on a regular basis. He emailed me to tell me that his wife passed away and I
was sad to hear of it.
