You might as well. I don't think Russian is "camera-ready" for French
speakers. I mean, no one ever made any commercial dictionaries of that
kind. Anyway, French was widely spoken in the 19th century, hence the
many borrowings. The one very weird and very sophisticated that occurs
to me right now is "mankirovat' svoimi obyazonastyami" (neglect one's
duty). You'll probably suprise Russians if you mention this relatively
rare idiom...
