Are you complaining that native speakers are taking away opportunities from
teachers of English? Why is this "terrorism"? When I was learning French in
school, there were a succession of French language teaching assistants who
aided the class with their insights on spoken French. Moreover, the "native
speaker" has the advantage of having a cultural insight into the use of a
language that a learner may not have experience of.

Dr. JI, perhaps you should reconsider your spelling in light of what you
said.

If you didn't use English for those living in Britain and America, what do
you propose using instead?

Some people will never get further than the outskirts of their town all
their lives. Similarly, some people will roam their own country and also
abroad. If anything, intelligibility has increased because of the media, and
what we hear from other lands as well. I don't find your standpoint neutral,
since you conflate your arguments with your own political outlook, without
thinking about the good things the things you are rankled with.

Successful communication is what works between people. Everything else is
politics or ignorance.
