they are very very good.
Assimil is a French company. they have been in the business for ages
and the books are bilingual. the Italian and Spanish courses are
wonderful. The English and the German one are a bit too stuffy, but
good still.
they are not expensive unless you buy the CD, which is very expensive,
and they are very well bound, with a flexible solid plastic cover to
take a lot of handling.
