Hello,
I'm considering moving to Shanghai to learn the language (and the culture). I've crawled the Web for information, and found a lot of information on accomodation, travel, etc. but I'm missing good advices on a 6 months/1 year program to learn Mandarin.
The best would be an organisation or an university with tome kind of governmental agreement, since I would need to obtain the student VISA in order to stay more than two months (which seems a bit short to learn the language!).
Do you have any experience/tips/links to help me a bit?
Thanks! :-)
I'm sure you can learn it there, but make sure your teachers have a standard accent. Shanghainese and standard Mandarin are very, very different.
