You're like me. After reading a text or listening to a speech, I will
have absorbed the contents, and forgotten the language and the precise
expressions used in the text or speech. So, quite often, I can tell
you what the text/speech is about in any language I'm fluent with, but
fail to tell you what sentences or wordings were used or even what
language it was in. I'd need external information (e.g. nature of the
event) to deduce the language that was used.
