Right; that's why I said "some sort of," but perhaps it would be
technically truer to say "the Latin root <*fe:->, reflecting some PIE
root (and I'm in no position to determine what it was), plus the Latin
suffix <-min->, reflecting what Baldi says was the PIE suffix
<*-men->." OK?
