I don't read German. I tried babelfish on your quote but it wasn't very
clear. Would you mind translating it and explaining what the source
for that was? Also, why do you think these were significant positions?
If you are right, this information does not seem compatable with the
Wikipedia article on MM claims that "Kramer was condemned by the
Inquisition in 1490". The more I look into it the more skeptical I am.

I was googling for ages but couldn't find much in the way of primary or
scholarly sources on this. It does appear that the article on MM is
underplaying the role of the Church, but I don't have anything firm to
base this on.
