Brazilian Portuguese

I just wanted to clear something up.
According to Wikipedia, the number seven in Portuguese is "sete".
But I could have sworn I heard the dancer pronounce it as [se:tS] (or
something similar, but still with a [tS] at the end).
Also, her "eight minutes" was ['oito mi'nuto]. Is it one of those languages
which does not pluralize numbers with a unit, or what?
(The next time I saw the dancer, I could have sworn I heard an [a'mor] in
what she said to me. I wonder how sincere it was. But forget it; I don't
have the money for that.)
