what we now call Indo-European, the family of languages which includes Greek, Hittite,
Albanian, Armenian, and language groups like Celtic, Germanic, Italic, Baltic, Slavonic
and - yes - Indo-Iranian.
Hittite is out of place in that first group (of languages within IE that
are not part of a group); it's one of half a dozen or so languages in
the Anatolian group. (The only important one you left out is Tocharian,
which is a group of two languages discovered about the same time as
Hittite.)
