That would surprise *me* very much.

Then come visit my old neighborhood, and have a look at the place in
question! (Actually, you'd have to look at it just over 100 years ago,
when the Harlem River Ship Canal was cut through to facilitate
navigation around the northern tip of Manhattan.)
