I have just acquired a quart of skim milk, for the first time in my
life. It looks like whey. Surprisingly, on cold cereal it tastes ok,
but I could never bring myself to try to drink it.
I think it's been years since I drank a glass of cold milk. I use milk
for cereal, tea, and as the main stock for milky hot drinks (lattes, hot
chocolate, hot milk with honey).
Blecch.
I've been drinking skim for the last four years, and started when my
girlfriend at the time forced me to start. Within about two weeks, having
even semi-skimmed (2%) just felt so nasty in any of the above uses.
I also like well-marbled meat.
.... meaning that besides liking skim milk, you also like well-marbled meat
or meaning that like Neeraj (if he has said so), you too like well-marbled
meat? If the latter, I should think it ought to be "I too like well-marbled
meat".
(Would you be the sort of Indian to whom
specifying a particular species would be anathema?)
A certain species (dog) is anathema to most Americans and the ones to whom
it's not anathema can't get dog meat in stores or restaurants and aren't
allowed to kill dogs for meat. Given that background information, how would
an American react to the question: Would you be the sort of American to
whom dog meat is anathema?
