It's given as the sole pronunciation by Jones/Gimson (13th ed). Or at

So, for those of us who don't get the Spelling Channel, what were the
Hawaiian words?

The ones that came up while I was watching were "kama`aina," but without the okina and of course without the macron that I too have left off the second "a," and "hukilau."
