Whether I enjoyed Pei's work is irrelevant. I was introduced to the
idea I was discussing through reading Pei. I was introduced to the
subsequent idea I was discussing through reading McWhorter. Frankly, I
would consider it creepy--a form of dishonesty through inaction--to
have failed to mention their names.
