Well I got confused by the use of the French mathematical term
'homomorphisme' for a restricted class of linear maps in Borel spaces.
It turned out that, unlike the typical use of English 'homomorphism',
that the author meant open linear maps.

Of course, mathematical terms can be ambiguous even within a language.
Does 'ring' mean a 'r1ng' (a ring with a one, i.e. with a
multiplicative identity) or 'rng' ( a ring without a one).
