Your claim about "American creaky voice English" was exposed as a lie
months ago.
In what respect is it a lie?
1) Not everybody does it. That leaves those who do.
2) Those who do it don't always do it. That leaves those moments they
do do it.
3) It isn't creaky voice, but some other articulatory device. That
doesn't make it any less irritating, though.
4) It doesn't occur as often as I think. That's because it is so
conspicuous and irritating when it does.
Why do you repeat it?
Because I heard someone do it again just yesterday, at the end of
every sentence. It tends to get worse. I think it was on BBC world in
an interview with an American. What's worse, the British interviewer
tended to start doing it too, almost.
