Why don't you (a) bring up a child yourself (or get yourself nephews or
nieces -- much more convenient) and (b) read a book? It's probably the
one field of language study on which dozens of books are available
directed to non-linguists, because just about everyone wants to know if
their kid is "normal."
But your Gedankenexperiment is simply absurd. A human cannot learn
vocabulary without grammar, or vice versa.
