Can anyone tell here more of the origin of the word kursi (chair)
The word is common in Hindi/Urdu, Arabic, Melayu (kerusi) ...
Since it has a root with 4 radicals krsy I doubt it stems from Arabic
even though Ferozsons Urdu English Dictionary tells it does have an
Arabic origin
