He doesn't know, he never heard me talk.

I don't speak it very well, though, I can attest. My pronunciation is
reasonable now, but as one native speaker attested, with an African
accent, although I was never in Africa.

Ekkehard can testify that my written Portuguese is still rather poor
and clumsy.
