Of course there is. I wasn't even aware that there is an English word
"House-Boat".

There isn't. A houseboat is a barge with a dwelling built on it, on/in
which people live. It isn't exactly navigable.

I think that's what we call a Hausboot. I even think the word is a
loan-"translation" from English, although I never thought of it.
