Keith, Brian knows I'm not a linguist....so he takes full advantage to
belittle and denigrate me while I'm on my quest to learn something about
some words that are of interest to me. I'm fully aware that what I present
as ideas may or may not be wrong.

However, while he's busy trying to find ways to insult me, he does make the
effort to explain to me things in a way that I can understand. You will
have noticed I ignore the attacks, I snip them, and focus on the "meat" of
the matter. So, while I would appreciate him not offering me a pile of
gristle along with the tid bits of tasty meat, he hasn't totally and utterly
dismissed me. He spends time on me, even though he feels impatient and
exasperated. There are small nuggets of quality time, that I find as time
well spent. I have to be fair and thank him for the "meaty" bits...the
useful portions of his posts.
