No, it was not.
Peter, I know what my son's first sounds where. I was there, you were
not!

You did not say "his first sounds." You said "his first word."
"Moo" is a word! ;-)
Then, is it a noun or verb, or what is it?
Or does the smiley mean you actually don't mean
what you are saying at all?
However, let's get really picky. He began with the "oo" sounds.
Now seriously, why is "moo" a word but "oo" just a sound?
From "oo" to "moo" to "doo" to "goo" .... exactly in that order.
Okay, so he is not a European, they always start with "boo".
Notice how he first began with a sound that involved pursed lips to make
that "oo" sound. From there he moved onto the "moo" sound which involved
tightening the lips together. Then he moved on to the "doo" sound which
involved the use of the tongue. And from there, he ended up managing the
"goo" sound using the back of his throat. Notice the transition from pursed
lips to back of the throat sounds,
oo-oo-oo-moo-moo-moo-doo-doo-doo-goo-goo-goo. Once he mastered these 4
things, he could make a variety of sounds
oo
oo-moo
moo-moo
doo-doo
goo-goo
moo-moo doo goo. ;-)

Okay, it's not quite a haiku yet, give it a month or two. :-)
