"Moo" is a word! ;-)

Then, is it a noun or verb, or what is it?

moo can be used as a verb or a noun.

The Merriam-Webster Dictionary claiming it isn't that surprising,
but you using MWD to identify which baby gurgles are words
and which are not is frankly........ insane?
E.g. "U menya pustaya golova"

Listen up, Paul: I am sounding out "U menya pustaya golova." I have
absolutely no idea what this means.
I'm just gurgling out these things.
Does that mean those words have no meaning? *You* know the meaning of the
above sentence.

I gave you an English version already.

I don't, but I can sound them out.

You are joking of course. I am absolutely sure
that you couldn't possibly do that without any instruction
in Russian.

I gave the usual Cyrillic-to-Latin transcription of a
Russian sentence with a "U" word. You may get
only some consonants right, you will probably be
totally wrong sounding any of the vowels and the
syllable stresses and lengths will also be totally
up the creek. The words like "golova" will be
unrecognizable.

I'm inclined to agree with you. Heidi

Yes, but in the morning I wake up sober and the
empty-headed feeling will be gone.....
