End of the fifth part of my very long reply.
I find nothing meriting a reply in the (now five!) parts of Franz's
latest salvo.
I now return him to the others.
The CEO of sci.lang makes way for you, so take
(as if anyone were reading this thread)
your chance with me! And here is how you must
proceed with me: pick out the worst I say, and
I shall discuss it.
Franz issues this "challenge" frequently, but he never fulfills his
side of the bargain. He simply changes the subject and does _not_
discuss what the respondent chose to question.
Insist on the one single point,
the very worst I say. The worst in your opinion,
well understood. I will defend my view,
He never attempts to defend his view.
I shall bring
up my arguments,
He has never offered an argument, only assertions.
and I shall do so in a polite tone,
Absolutely true.
as long as you don't offend me. You can criticize
me as much as you want, even harshly, I can
stand it, but when you offend me, when you go
ad hominem because you lack arguments, then
I will give back. And I am no slouch with words,
even in my freestyle English. Now who dares stand
up against me? I stand up against everyone of you.
