It has nothing to do with restrictions. It has to do with good practice and common sense.
Some of you may be familiar with German Gutenberg
(gutenberg.spiegel.de). They are making moves towards
allowing you to have a book rather than just a chapter.
(See the FAQ section).
Project Gutenberg doesn't chain all of its books into one long page and post it to Usenet. Nor do they even post all of their books on a single web page. Why are you citing an example that demonstrates my point, the one with which you say you disagree?
