Did you leave out a zero? Mesopotamian astronomy and astrology would
look far more different from Greek and Indian astronomy and astrology
than it does if that were so!

A complete cycle of precession of the equinoxes takes around 26000 years, so as far as that's concerned 3000 and 29000 years ago are equivalent. Of course, there are other factors changing the appearance of the constellations over longer time spans.
