<dominicbojarski@xxxxxxxxx>: in sci.lang:
F) failing to complete n, m, l, and w at the end of a word.
In English, /w/ is never at the end of a word AFAIK.
Polish
pronunciation stops far short of the portion of the sound that
English speakers depend on for recognition. We just hear "something"
that we cannot interpret.
The English (or Brit) final n to me makes the impression of being
long, maybe three of four times longer than my own Dutch final n.
