Making up the answers and being satisfied with them in lieu of doing research is not the scientific way.

Ignoring the stuff you made up in your own head when it contradicts what is already known, sometimes from well-established demonstrable evidence, is not unscientific. Imagining that it's real and citing it as an explanation when people ask questions, when it's arbitrary and you have no way to test it, *is* unscientific. Also unscientific is your paranoia that people here go to Google Groups to "killrate" you. If anybody *is* doing that, well it's a feature Google provides, and some people use it. Are you suggesting that people shouldn't use this feature?
