An untestable prediction is not a prediction.

The first part of my prediction is easily testable:
pronouncing words either in the normal way or
silently will result in similar but not equal MRI
(magnet resonance images of the brain), while
the second part is the more difficult but also
the promising one. Who says that scientific tests
are simple? And, by the way, what predictions
does for example the comparative method make?
how are PIE reconstructions testable? The only
way I see is to wait for the discovery of old forms.
One such discovery occured with the successful
translation of the Tiryns disk, where the Middle
Helladic form of Zeus is given as Ss Ey R
which is far away from PIE *dieus but, again
in my opinion, an easily recognizable derivative
of Magdalenian TYR --- he or she who overcomes,
in the double sense of rule and give.

And what predictions did Ferdinand de Saussure make?
