I think he was trolling for a message to answer with that piece of prefabricated demagoguery, aiming for Google stardom in soc.culture.indian. Sci.lang was typecast for the role as a band of godless international mercenaries joining forces against the purest Indian nonsense.

But there's no need to be surprised. After all, a crosspost from soc.culture.indian by a pseudonym gives a high score on any taurocoprometer. Shouldn't we stop answering those things?
