In Ray Bradbury's "The Martian Chronicles", astronauts from Earth arrive
on Mars where they are greeted with indifference and eventually led to a
facility for what they think will be a celebration. And in the facility
there is one: when one of the astronauts announces, "We're here from
Earth", the Martians in the room burst into cheers and gather around
them. One of them says [I'm paraphrasing from memory], "It's good to see
others from Earth. I left a long time ago." "Wait--you're from Earth?
You look like the Martians." "I am from Earth, a planet that is all
ocean." Another chimes in, "No, it is all jungle." A third, also with
yellowish skin and six fingers on each hand, claims, "No, it is a
crystal planet! I am from Earth, and I know." At that point the
astronauts realize with horror that where they've been taken is an
insane asylum.
With these words, in which I can only agree, Messinger provides an
effective curtain for our little discussion.
Quit a parallel to my own experiences with editors from mother Earth.
In case the point escaped you, they (along with those of us who observe
your contributions and those of grapheus here) *are* the ones who are
genuinely from Earth. And they know doubt feel puzzled when they
encounter the likes of your jungle-bound Earth and the crystalline Earth
of grapheus.

Morality : in this tale, people coming from Earth are blind !.. They
cannot see the difference between black and white !

LOL. All you and Ole are doing is reinforcing the aptness of the metaphor.

And YOU are reinforcing Ole's motive for complaining!.. Judging
without obviously knowing the file...
