To help settle a work argument:

Which is correct (and why)? Or which is incorrect (and why)?

Heading: When to notify your insurer:

1) Immediately you become aware of an event that may lead to a loss
2) Immediately if you become aware of an event that may lead to a
loss
3) Immediately when you become aware of an event that may lead to a
loss

None of those is used in American English. (1) looks like British
English.

American would be "As soon as you become aware ..." or, possibly,
"Immediately upon becoming aware ...," but that has a _very_ literary
flavor and wouldn't do in an insurance pamphlet.

Immediately after you become aware ... ?
