Part 60

PAD for the activity of feet and comparative PAS
for everywhere may have a lateral association each,
namely PID and PIS :

PID --- hollow in the ground wherein water rests or
moves, later also used for other hollows and fluids;
ancient Greek pithos for barrel, English pit, puddle,
river bed, vat, German Bütte and Bottich, English
pot, French bidon for a container of liquids, vide
for empty, English void (an empty vessel inspiring
the concept of emptiness per se). Fud for vulva,
an old German word

PIS --- water in motion, bodies moving in water,
movement caused by water; ancient Greek pisos
for German Aue, a low meadow land run through
by brooks, creeks, rivers, and streams (famous
the Aue of the river Danube near Vienna), perhaps
Pisa on the former mouthing of the river Arno,
Latin piscis pices for fish, French piscine for
swimming pool, bisse plural bisses pronounced
pis for the medieval water channels in the Rhone
valley in southwestern Switzerland (once a web of
20,000 kilometers!). English piss German Pisse
pissen, Bisi for the pee of a child in my language.
A nasal infix yields pis pnis penis, a labial infix pis
plis, wherefrom Latin fluxus, German Fluss for river,
fliessen for to flow, Floss for raft. The flow of hairs
of a fleece German Vlies may also come from
plis (Leonardo da Vinci compared hair with water).
French plisse for a fold in fabric may have the
same origin. Pis pils may be the origin of German
Pelz for fur and English pelt (same explanation as
in the case of fleece and plisse), and of Latin
pulsare, English pulsate and pulse.

NER for male potency? REN for loins? ERN for
a child as fruit of the loins?

Part 59

DAP ARG --- manual activity (dap) decorated cave,
later also used for streaks, veins and pockets of
precious materials in the walls of a mine: crystal,
copper, cassiterite, silver, gold (arg), a compound
used for miners; German Zwerg English dwarf.
The seven dwarfs in the fairy tale Snow White
were miners (Snow White may be a symbol of tin,
as Helen, the queen a symbol of copper, and her
poison a symbol of arsenic). Silver and gold may
be further derivatives of KAL. ARG may be
the origin of *arg-gros ancient Greek argos for
shining and Latin argentum for silver. GRA for
a painted cave and later for a mine containing
precious materials may be the origin of Greek
chrysos for gold. GAR for an opening in rock
may be present in Charon who lead the souls
of the deceased into the realm of shadows.

PIR EN --- fire (pir) within (en), oven, furnace;
English burn German brennen, Perisan birinj
for copper

PIR ONS --- fire (pir) benefit coming from opinions
that are based on reality (ons), benefit coming from
the study of fire and minerals and how they behave
in fire; Venetian bronza for burning coals (providing
heat in a furnace), English bronze German Bronze

CAP PIR --- to capture, keep (cap, originally
hunting horses) fire (pir), keeping fire in an oven,
allowing to melt copper; Latin cuprum for copper,
Cyprus the copper island, English copper German
Kupfer

Latin aes for money, copper, bronze may go back
to AIS for fate - having or lacking money can decide
someone's fate -, while pecunia for money refers to
a Roman ingot decorated with a cow and representing
the value of a cow and would have its origin in PAC for
horse and later also cow, as in Italian vacca for cow,
and in PEC for smaller animals, Latin pecus for cattle,
sheep and goats.

BAL OMD --- hot (bal) multitude (omd), a multitude
of small ovens in the ground for melting lead, as
found at an ancient site in Greece; (balomd)

REO GEN --- to flow, river (reo) three days and nights
of the young moon, later anything that comes into being
(gen, genesis), rain filling caverns and river beds,
making springs well up and rivers flow; German Regen
English rain

KA in the language of the dwellers of the Blombos cave
in South Africa, Middle Stone Age, 75 000 BC, would
have meant: sky, beyond, what is out of the human reach,
inside rock (source of life, animals coming out of and
disappearing into rock in the rock art of southern Africa
and in cave art of Europe), inside a well, deep inside
ourselves, accessible only to a shaman in a trance ...
This KA would have become CA for sky and KAL for
the Underworld. KAL has many derivatives, ancient
Greek kallos for beautiful (a beautiful cave), khalkos
for copper (an ore found in mines), Helen as goddess
of Dawn (Michael Janda) emerging from the Underworld
(once the sun horse emerging from the ground and
climbing the sky), Helen as symbol of tin in Homer's
Odyssey (there is a whole family of metals: Helen stays
for tin, her glittering long robe she made herself for
the tin ore cassiterite, her thread for tin thread, by then
cut out of hammered foil; her husband xanthos Menelaos
for copper, the color xanthos covering all hues of copper
ore, yellow, brown, red; their daughter, lovely Hermione
who resembles golden Aphrodite for bronze, of a golden
shine when freshly cast; a slave woman and mistress
of Menelaos for aurichalcit, a natural alloy of copper
and zinc, zinc in enslaved form, so to say; their son
strong late come Megapenthes for brass, a stronger
alloy than bronze, arriving late in the family of early
metals). Helen was the cause of the Trojan war: tin
was rare and precious, it came either from the Ore
Mountains in Middle Europe, or from Central Asia,
and was in either case bound to pass Troy, where
the Trojans laid hands on it ... KAL for the Underworld
is also present in Hellenes, in keltoi Celts Helvetii
Gallia, and with the labor of mining and the horrors
of the wars caused by metals (Helen / tin as cause
of the Trojan war) the beautiful Underwolrd KAL
turned into a hell, German Hölle ...

perhaps named for clouds that may have been seen
as very light and large sponges filled with water ...
The hairdo of the goddess ac ca engraved in a slab
of a temple at Göbekli Tepe reminds of a fungus and
a rain cloud, while her giant vulva (macrolabiae)
evokes amniotic water, fertile water, water irrigating
the fields of the early farmers at the base of the
Karacadac east of Göbekli Tepe. Latin fungere
functio English function (a shaman's privilege, duty
and responsibility of mediating between earth and
sky, humans and deities)
