Dear Everyone:
Ludmila Zykina sings the song "Flows the Volga River" (ôÅÞÅÔ ÒÅËÁ
÷ÏÌÇÁ) in the 1964 film "óÏÂÅÒÉÔÅ ÷ÅÎÅÒÕ" (Soberite Veneru).
What is the meaning of the film title "óÏÂÅÒÉÔÅ ÷ÅÎÅÒÕ" ? Could you
give an English translation? The Babel Fish gives the English
translation as "Gather Venus", but this does not quite make sense.
Thank you for reading and replying!

From Russian verb собрать
It is hard to say; I do not know in what context that syntagm is used
(Venus as a Planet, Venus as Beauty, Venus as a Star...
Maybe: obtain the Venus (choose a beauty); assemble the Venus
(exploration); pick up the Venus (Mourning Star; poetic) etc.
