Please, be more consistent... If no one (as you say) bothered to
disprove "something I made up", how, for god sake, did it happened
that I "have been told why and how many times"?
If you have acquired the basic knowledge in linguistics, then you will
be able to explain why and how the words "ophtalmos" and "opticus" are
(allegedly) derived from the *okW- root? Please, would you mind
showing me just one of those "evidences" from your, above-mentioned,
"overwelming documentation"?
