<graph...@xxxxxxx>: in sci.lang:
Following the distinguished linguist Peter T. Daniels, the
dictionaries have now to modify the meaning of the word "content" in
English. Because when a critic writes in 2000 : "This is the latest of
many attempts to decipher the Phaistos Disc", and that one replies :
"This is wrong. The said decipherment has been published in 1975",
there is "no content" in the reply.
I suggest that they should also modify the meaning of the word
"scholar", and I propose this : "A Peter Daniels-like scholar is a guy
who is pleased with censorship, in the name of colleaguial
friendship".

As the Germans say: Quatsch. In English: Crap.
