the misfortune is really that the language is getting a nasty send-off
from this planet. the poor language.

dying languages sometimes attract some fairly mal-adjusted people.
giving up this and that, and they are very bitter now.

this means you don't give a damn about the language. if you are
bitter, it's about you. and you are too ashamed to even admit who you
