Dr. Jerome Eisenberg kindly invited me to write

and am very happy with it (three pages in word,
font 12). Thank you, Dr. Eisenberg.
Is this one of your 'jokes' or are you actually proud that you could
write three whole pages of 'scholarly' work.

I saw Dr. Jerome Eisenberg's e-mail yesterday
morning at 8 o'clock, in the country where I helped
a friend of mine, traveled back to Zurich, arrived home
at 10 o'clock, wrote the three pages, went to the
Federal Technological Institute and posted my message,
returned home, worked over my three pages, adding
illustrations, and sent a CD to London this morning
at 7 o'clock. So I wrote a paper for the conference
in eight hours, and sent it off in less than 24 hours
since I got the inivitation. Yes, I am very proud of
having managed to condense a wagonload of ideas
in three pages, and I achieved this with my method
of conveying a historical hypothesis in the form of
a fable, a story, even a fairy tale, a method for which
I got a prize by the University of Zurich, bestowed
on me on the dies academicus 1994.
