In Italy we say:
"e' arabo" = "it's Arabic" ---> it is not understandable.
"parli arabo/turco" = "you speak Arabic/Turkish" ---> it is not understandable.
"fare il Portoghese" = "to act as a Portuguese" --> to get or to do something without paying
"fumare come un Turco" = "to smoke like a Turk" --> to smoke very much
I don't know about your points b) and d), but maybe others may check those points by reading this post.
