intelligent.  You, sir, are no Geoff Pullum, and you have completely
misunderstood what he was saying.

No, it's you who overlooked the "constructing" -- unless you're saying
he didn't intend it to mean "constructing."

None of those legitimate criticisms (snipped) explain why you have
such a strong personal animosity against him.
