My HP45 still works and unfortunately it is used mostly for check book
reconciliation. I really loved that one when I was doing chemistry
(college teaching). My 34C has given up the ghost as far as I can tell.
I suspect it could be massaged back to some degree of operation. But the
power switch on the 45 is kind of dodgy and I wish it were possible to
replace it. Runs only on xformer now (no batteries working.)
