So it is. But if we are talking about the biological basis of
ethical, or any other, behaviour, I do not see where philosophy enters
into it.
There is a biological reason why I do not enjoy torturing kittens,
children, etc. There are many biological reasons for many of the
things that I do, or do not do, or cannot do. But this is biology,
not philosophy.
