Herc, don't let these guys bother you. You may be sick, and in
fact I think you are very sick, but when you are feeling well you
are interesting and creative. These guy's tired old cliche flames
are uniformly and consistently boring.
"Consistently boring" is my definition of Hell. Eh?
Besides being intollerably boring, they appear to be heartless
bastards to most readers, and you appear to be the victim. The
more they do it, the more clueless they look, and the better you
look. So just sit back and watch them make fools of themselves.
Like Simon, I'd like to apologize for how I flamed you in the
past.
It's necessary to let posters know you are sick sometimes, but
we certainly don't need to do it 30 times in a row and we
certainly don't need any help from these clueless outsiders. I'll
try to be more thoughtful in the future.
You know that there are several people in sci.logic who feel as
I do, and the great majority of people in real life do too, so
please take heart that we understand your predicament and hope
you can feel well a lot more often in the future. We would always
like to read your posts when you are feeling well, and many
posters here have had profitable exchanges with you.
Thanks for the probability idea about a real-world solution to
the Halting Problem recently when you were feeling well. Of all
those who talked about that in real-world context, you had the
best idea in my opinion. I think that was a major contribution,
and I am sure I will be able to use that idea someday.
