Thanks for posting all this information. I haven't checked it all out
but I did notice that you seem to have made a mistake in the title of
one article. This letter seems to be from the office of Paul Simon,
Senator from Illinois, not from the Senate itself:

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the federal investigation into
the raid initialed earlier this year on the Branch Davidian compound
near Waco, Texas.

At the direction of President Clinton, the Treasury Department and the
Justice Department both conducted extensive investigations into this
case. As you may know, the Treasury Department's report criticized
Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms officials for basing the
operation "on seriously flawed assumptions." The Justice Department's
report also acknowledges that authorities made mistakes, but concluded
that the ultimate responsibility for the fire lies with the Branch
Davidians themselves.

I am hopeful that through these investigations, something can be
learned so that we can avoid similar situations in the future.
