Sentences are a certain kind of string.
Why don't you just read a good book on mathematical logic?

Oh God. Look, why is it on some sites theres always a little enclave of
academic stupidity. Let me explain slowly for you and the similarly
afflicted:
1) "Wednesday comes before Thursday" Call this string "A".
(Why? Because it looks 'formal' and sends the right signals to those
who like 'formal'.)
2) "Thursday comes after Wednesday". Call this string "B".
Is it true that A entails B?
Answers on a bloody postcard you dimwits.
