We saw that we can construct propositions which make statements about
themselves,

even george in a post admits he makes self referencing statements -though
george says this is only indirectly- indirect or not they are as godel
tells us propositions which make statements about themselves,

thus when you say

you agree with colin leslie dean that godels is invalid because he uses
these self referencing statements

Maybe Gödel believed we can construct sentences expressing self-
referential propositions; I'm not sure about Gödel's belief. But
nothing of the like shows up in his proof. Even if he could have
thought it did.
