A universe [with] one object is a universe of no objects. This is not in

Whether it is or it isn't in conflict with out notion of "object" it's
certainly in conflict with our notion of "one."

Or rather with our notions of "one" and "no" ...

A universe with three objects has two distinctions.

A distinction is something that is a property of a unique pair
of objects. In a universe with three objects, we have the distinctions
between (a, b), (b, c), and (a, c). So a universe with three
objects has three distinctions.

There is only a and b.

You said there were three objects. Saying there is only a and
b conflicts with that. If there was only a and b that would be
two objects [if a =/= b].

One would think so (at least any sane person, I guess).
